Gili Meno is the smallest and quietest of the three Gili Islands — the one you come to for nothing at all. No nightlife, no traffic, no crowds: just a ring of white sand, a saltwater lake, and some of the clearest water in the archipelago. It's long been the honeymooners' Gili, and it's perfect for anyone who wants to switch off completely.
Days here are simple: snorkel with turtles, nap in the shade, and watch the sun go down with barely another soul in sight.

Why go to Gili Meno
Meno is the definition of a desert-island escape. The beaches are the emptiest of the three Gilis, the snorkelling is excellent (including the famous underwater statue circle just offshore), and evenings are quiet and star-filled. It's small enough to walk around in well under an hour.
Accommodation ranges from simple beach bungalows to a few romantic eco-resorts, but there's no party scene — that's the whole point.
Things to do
Snorkel the reefs and the submerged "Nest" statues, swim with turtles, visit the inland saltwater lake and bird park, and do very little else. Sunset from the west coast, with Bali's volcano on the skyline, is unforgettable.
